It appears that the previously squeaky clean, dope free image of New Zealand sport is no more, with one of New Zealand's most successful athletes involved in a doping shock.
Jock Paget's horse, Clifton Promise has tested positive for a banned performance enhancing substance at the Burghley Horse Trials last month. Paget will be stood down from the sport indefinitely until further investigations can be taken.
It is a huge blow for a sport that is currently on a high following success at the 2012 Olympics and this year at Badminton and Burghley.
