2012 NFL Playoffs Preview

The new year has heralded the beginning of the NFL playoffs and a whole new race to go to the Bayou for the Super Bowl.

The playoffs kick off this weekend with the wild cards taking on the weakest division leaders - weak by regular season record. Yet these often feature the most battle-hardened and in-form teams in the NFL.

The fixtures this weekend are as follows:
Bengals at Texans - Texans to win
Vikings at Packers - Packers
Colts at Ravens - Colts
Seahawks at Redskins - Redskins

It'll mean that next weekend when the top seeds, the Patriots, 49ers, Falcons and Broncos come out of their bye, the fixtures will be -
Texans at Patriots
Packers at 49ers
Redskins at Falcons
Colts at Broncos - this could be a beauty as Peyton Manning will take on his old team

Patriots, 49ers, Falcons and Broncos to win.

Which would mean
Patriots at Broncos for AFC berth in the Super Bowl

49ers at Falcons for NFC berth

Super Bowl - Broncos v 49ers, Peyton Manning to lead the Broncos to Super Bowl glory in the Bayou.
