Chris Cairns, Daryl Tuffey & Lou Vincent In Match Fixing Scandal!!!
In what could possibly be the biggest scandal to hit New Zealand cricket ever, New Zealand cricketers have been named as being involved in a large international ring that fixes cricket matches.
A four month investigation by the ICC in New Zealand has found up to three former Blackcaps involved in match fixing - media reports have said that Chris Cairns, Daryl Tuffey and Lou Vincent are the cricketers involved.
If this is correct, this would probably blow up New Zealand's clean and green reputation when it comes to cricket and as an oasis in contrast to the wave of match fixing that has afflicted international cricket particularly in India, Pakistan, Australia, England and South Africa.
More investigations are to be conducted into this latest chapter of a saga that started when English newspapers first found a huge match-fixing ring in international cricket 2-3 years ago that resulted in international bans for Pakistani crickets Salman Butt and Mohammad Amir.

These small poor third world countries that struggle to get a competitive team on the field often have no option than to match fix to pay players.
