As a recognition of their dominance this season, the All Blacks have swept the IRB's 2013 Rugby Awards with Kieran Read winning the coveted World Player of the Year award.
Kieran Read beat fellow All Black Ben Smith and fellow internationals, Eben Etzebeth and Sergio Parisse in a season that saw the Rosedale College alumni make his mark as the best number 8 in the world and possibly the greatest ever to play that position for the ABs.
The All Blacks won the team of the year award while Steve Hansen was named coach of the year for the second year running.
