What a Disgrace!

Steaua Bucharest defender George Galamaz got a nasty surprise in Steaua's league game versus Petrolul Ploiesti on the weekend. A fan ran onto the pitch and promptly attacked Galamaz. The final insult: the fan spat on him as Galamaz's felt the agony of a broken jaw.

Not content with taking out the visiting team's defender, the fan went on to cause havoc with the game before being finally stopped by Galamaz's teammates and being hauled off the team.

Life ban I say. The game never recovered and was promptly abandoned.

What a disgrace!
