Runako Morton Dead 1978-2012

It has been reported on social media sites that former West Indies cricketer, Runako Morton has died. He was killed in a car accident - his car apparently slammed into a pole killing him instantly.

Morton played 15 tests for the West Indies but considered more of a one day specialist featuring in 56 ODIs and 7 Twenty20s. In fact, he was part of the West Indies squad that toured New Zealand in the summer of 2006. His last ODI was against Australia in Adelaide in 2010. Morton had been playing cricket for Trinidad & Tobago and the Leeward Islands.

Morton was 33.
