Tebow Time Over in Denver? Hello Peyton!

It appears that Denver's brief flirtation with Tim Tebow might be over with former Colts and future Hall of Fame QB, Peyton Manning set to join the Broncos.

An announcement is imminent of a new 5 year deal worth the same as his previous contract at the Colts meaning Manning will still be one of the two highest paid players in the NFL - the other being Tom Brady.

It also means that in all likelihood Tim Tebow will be traded to another team just months after guiding the Broncos to the division title and a divisional round loss to the Patriots following a sensational overtime defeat of the Steelers in the wildcard round.

Rough? You bet but this is American pro sport we're talking about with all the intricacies of free agencies, franchise tags, etc.

Don't worry Tebow fans, he'll be in the NFL next season. Just not at Denver.

But back to Manning, this will be a fine signing for an essentially good Broncos team. Their defense was superb last season and now their attack will improve greatly with a proper QB taking the snaps.

Oh this is also probably bad news for San Diego, Oakland & Kansas City.
