Kiwis Side Named for Rugby League World Cup Final!

Stephen Kearney has named his 19 men squad for the Rugby League World Cup Final this Saturday (Sunday morning New Zealand time) against Australia.

Frank Pritchard has failed to recover from his persistent hamstring injury meaning he misses out on the chance to help the Kiwis defend their world title. Elijah Taylor will stay in the side as his replacement along with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Manu Vatuvei and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves who have been cleared to play after injury scares earlier in the week.

The final 17-man team will be named on the day of the Final.

The squad is -

Jesse Bromwich, Greg Eastwood, Kieran Foran, Alex Glenn, Bryson Goodwin, Shaun Johnson, Sam Kasiano, Kevin Locke, Issac Luke, Simon Mannnering (C), Ben Matulino, Jason Nightingale, Frank-Paul Nu’uausala, Elijah Taylor, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Manu Vatuvei, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Dean Whare, Sonny Bill Williams.
