RWC 2011 - Did someone mention the weather?

Amidst all the talk about Richie McCaw's foot, Matt Todd joining Stephen Donald & Hosea Gear as last minute replacements, it is amazing that no one has talked about a critical factor in this weekend's big semifinals: the weather.

Perhaps it may be the only time New Zealanders hope it buckets down for a game of rugby as traditionally the All Blacks are unstoppable in wet weather conditions. In addition, the Wallabies play their worst rugby in the wet - Athletic Park in 1996, Christchurch in 2002, Wellington in 2004, that game v Ireland last month anyone?
