Bauer Watch: TdF Day 16

Movistar's Rui Costa took a comfortable win in today's TdF finish in Gap. Minutes behind, there was a bit of late drama as yellow jersey holder, Chris Froome and challenger, Alberto Contador fell off the road on the descent.

However, both quickly recovered thanks to Froome's trusty sidekick, Richie Porte and Froome maintains his commanding lead in the general classification.

Jack Bauer consolidated his place as top Kiwi in the TdF this year in 149th, now over 6 minutes ahead of Greg Henderson. 

We head deeper into the mountains tomorrow as the TdF gets well into the business end.
