Australia's recent mini sporting resurgence has continued with Orica-Greenedge winning the team trial around Nice today enabling Aussie Simon Gerrens to take the yellow jersey. Orica just beat Mark Cavendish's Omega-Quickstep team.
Jack Bauer's Garmin-Sharp finished a respectable 5th and only just missed out on giving the yellow jersey to Scottish veteran David Millar - it would have been his first since 2000.
