Tim Sheens and Craig Bellamy in Mix to Be Next Warriors Coach!

Former Wests Tigers and current Kangaroos coach Tim Sheens is one of the many names that have been put in the hat to replace recently departed Warriors coach, Matthew Elliott.

Indeed, Sheens' management has put his name forward to Eric Watson and Wayne Scurrah as the best man to lead the Warriors to the promised land of NRL glory.

Former Dragons coach, Nathan Brown and Melbourne Storm coach, Craig Bellamy have also been linked to the role with current interim coach, Andrew McFadden not likely to have his contract as head coach extended beyond the season.

Tim Sheens would be a great choice but so was Matt Elliott, Daniel Anderson and Bluey McClennan and look what happened to them. I think it is really a case of trying to get the Warriors top half to get their heads out of their arse and realise that they can't just sack managers season after season and hope to build a Premiership winning team. At the same time, they need to have faith with their coaches even when the team is losing - and I thought they had learnt that lesson with Matty Elliott.

Obviously not, and the Warriors remind me of a certain North London football club who has had 6 coaches in 10 seasons and wonders why it can't compete with its neighbour across the road, let alone Manchester United.

Are the Warriors the Tottenham Hotspur of the NRL? You betya. In Simon Mannering you have Michael Dawson, Shaun Johnson, you have Christian Eriksen.

Which means was Elijah Taylor Gareth Bale?
