Warriors Coach Matt Elliott Set For Sack!

Reports are emerging from Australia that Warriors coach Matthew Elliott is set for the chop after only just 5 games into the 2014 NRL season.

The Warriors were abysmal in a 37-6 loss to the Cronulla Sharks on Saturday afternoon but had bounced back from 2 losses to start the season to win their next 2 games going into Saturday's game against the previously winless Sharks outfit.

A cryptic tweet from Eric Watson suggests that the Penrose franchise have decided that the Elliott experiment has not worked and want to move in a direction.

It is a shame really and definitely premature. Once again, the Warriors administration has let emotion get in the way of sound decision making and sadly the fans have to suffer again. The fact is, the NRL is and has always been a tough competition with not much between the teams. Has the NRL sadly followed the EPL in sacking their coach when the going gets tough?
