5 Greatest All Blacks v Boks Games (in New Zealand)

The ABs and Boks have played plenty of classics in their long history. Here are some of the best ever matches played between these two in New Zealand.

1981 New Zealand 25 South Africa 22, Auckland

Probably the most famous Boks test ever played in NZ - although it will be more remembered for the flour bombs rather than the rugby which was scintillating itself.

1997 New Zealand 55 South Africa 35, Auckland
(sorry couldn't find any pictures or video - this was a belter though!)
The highest aggregate score for an ABs v South Africa game and a good advert of afternoon test rugby.

2008 New Zealand 28 South Africa 30, Dunedin
The last ever Boks test at Carisbrook saw their first ever win in the ground formerly known as the House of Pain. Ricky Januarie was at his mercurial best.

2009 New Zealand 29 South Africa 32, Hamilton
A terrific championship decider even if it didn't quite live up to the home crowd's expectations when it came to a win to the home side. Will be remembered for Francois Steyn's massive penalty kicks.

2012 New Zealand 21 South Africa 11, Dunedin
The first ever All Blacks test under the roof of the new stadium. Will be remembered for that Habana try.
