Reports are coming out across the ditch that Will Genia is set to join Kevin Rudd on the scrap heap with the influential halfback set to be dropped for the test against Argentina in Perth.
Genia has looked listless and effective this season against bigger packs and this must be a desperate measure by Ewen McKenzie who is all out of ideas to get his first win as Wallabies coach.
It is a big call given that captain, Will Genia is one of McKenzie's own creations along with Quade Cooper, James Slipper and the injured James Horwill.
Like Rudd, Genia is likely to be dropped to the bench so if Brumbies halfback Nic White doesn't quite work out, Genia could come off the bench.
Mind you, Genia is likely to have a bit longer in the limelight than the now former Prime Minister of Australia.
