Tiger Back in the Winner's Circle

Nearly 2 years after his entire life collapsed on him like a ton of bricks - sorry for the not-appropriate analogy not so long after the Christchurch earthquake - Tiger Woods is once again a winner!

It is Tiger's first win in more than 2 years - his last win was the Australian Master's title in November 2009; around the time his personal life began to show its very ugly, ugly side.

Tiger Woods charged through the leaderboard on the last day of the Chevron World Challenge at the Thousand Oaks course in California to tie with previous leader Zac Johnson going into the 18th hole.He would finish a stroke ahead of Zac Johnson after being three strokes below par for the day.

I'm personally thrilled for Tiger. Yes it was awful what he did to his wife and kids but he is still in my opinion, the greatest golfer ever - and certainly the best I've ever seen. He deserves redemption on the golf course after all he has had to go through in the last 2 years with injury and his personal life.

I hope this is the start of a Tiger revival which will see him race back into the world's top ten - and at 35, he has got plenty of time to be very competitive.

Imagine Woods v McIlroy v Kaymer v Westwood for the no.1 world ranking.. That would be sweet..
