Can Liverpool Win the #EPL?

The English Premier League season is turning into a lesson of camouflage and bluffing. The masters of these appear to be Chelsea who Mourinho said they weren't challenging for the title this season, and Liverpool who were just waiting to see how the season went.

Unbelievably, it is both Chelsea and Liverpool who are leading the table ahead of early front runners, Arsenal and the supposed favourites, Manchester City. And don't even mention Manchester United.

Liverpool though, are the team to watch as they face Manchester City and Chelsea at home, and after picking up points while the top 3 have dropped points as well as scoring 72 goals and boosting their goal difference immeasurably, are definitely now serious title contenders.

The way they've disposed of Arsenal at home was a first sign of things to come and after a hiccup against West Brom and a close win at home against Swansea, they've once again showed their power against Southampton.

Can they win the title? Well, it is a more distinct possibility then a couple of weeks ago. I guess their defence is still not quite as sturdy as the other title contenders' but their attack is very much up there and they do have a slightly more straightforward home finish to the season - plus are only fighting on the league front while Arsenal, Chelsea and City are still fighting on other fronts. Manchester United away will still be a challenge for Liverpool but this is a Liverpool side brimming with confidence and if they can have the likes of Suarez, Sturridge, Gerrard, Coutinho and Henderson all fit for the finish, they're looking alright.

At this stage, it'll be close, I'll say they have a good chance of finishing 3rd given Arsenal's plummeting form which would give Liverpool Champions League football - a stunning achievement in Brendan Rodgers' second season nevertheless.

The element of surprise has been the key this season and Liverpool might very well have that final element.
