Graeme Smith to Retire from International Cricket! #SAvAUS

South Africa captain, Graeme Smith has announced his retirement from all international cricket after the completion of the 3rd and final test against Australia in Cape Town.

Australia are in firm control of the series decider at the moment with 33-year-old, Graeme Smith having a pretty meagre series. Smith had already ceded the captaincy of the one day and Twenty20 sides to AB de Villiers.

Graeme Smith's 109 tests as a captain is a world record and only Sunil Gavaskar has scored more runs as an opener.

During Smith's time, South African cricket experienced plenty of upheaval as the administrators sought to introduce the same racial parity that South African rugby was trying to introduce to the game. However, with coach Mickey Arthur, South Africa rose to the top of world cricket including memorable series wins away from home in England and Australia.

Graeme Smith will definitely be remembered as one of the great captains of world cricket.

Here is a look back at some of his most memorable moments.
