Super Rugby Round 5 perhaps showed who will be the contenders this season for overall honours - with the Chiefs and Sharks possibly leading by example while the Crusaders and Brumbies appear to be the next best sides.
Meanwhile, the Blues and Cheetahs appear to be struggling at this stage of the season to find the form that made them contenders, with the Cheetahs eventually making the playoffs.
Indeed, the Cheetahs have lost all their games on tour to the Antipodes so far - let's not forget that the one reason they got into the playoffs was their record in the Antipodes where they beat the Brumbies, Waratahs, etc. along the way.
