#Crusaders Just About Quell #Rebels Rebellion!

The Crusaders have always found sides like the Melbourne Rebels and Western Force a banana skin when they play them on their home turf so perhaps it was good that Todd Blackadder's men boosted their record for the season to 2-2 with a competent if unimpressive 25-19 win over the Rebels on Friday night.

For much of the game, the Rebels competed well with the 7-times Super Rugby champions until the 2nd half when the Crusaders backs took the game away from the underdog hosts.

In an error-ridden game marred by penalties, there was little to suggest that the Crusaders have got the prowess to stake their claim as New Zealand's best chance for Super Rugby glory this season. The Rebels on the other hand, remain a limited side but one that tries to play the game with width.

Here are the highlights from last night's game!
