The Chiefs came back from their bye week refreshed to maintain their unbeaten start to the 2014 Super Rugby season with a 36-20 win over the touring Stormers.
The Chiefs were quick out of the blocks in the first half but the Stormers reeled them in in the 2nd half to close the gap to 4 points. However, the Chiefs showed their tremendous strength and depth to close out the game.
Gareth Anscombe was top points-scorer for the Chiefs in his first game back since his shoulder reconstruction surgery over the summer, and made some barnstorming runs through some gaps.
