#Football Derby Weekend in Europe!

It's quite a big weekend in European football with quite a few big derbies taking place on Saturday and Sunday.

Indeed, if Manchester City weren't playing Sunderland in the Capital One Cup Final at Wembley on Sunday, they would have been playing Manchester United at Old Trafford, making this one already action packed weekend full of long time rivalries!

In Spain, Atletico Madrid host Real Madrid in what should be a pivotal game of a tight La Liga title race on Sunday night (5:00pm local time). For the first time this season, it's Real who are the Madrid club with the form on their side - they come into this game on the back of a thumping 6-1 win at Schalke and a 3-0 win against Elche at home that saw them take sole lead of La Liga. However, Atletico Madrid - who were awful in a 3-0 loss at Osasuna - do have home form on their side and did win the reverse fixture earlier in the season so should still be confident going into Sunday night's game. Expect a tight tussle with Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema not expected to be given much room by Gabi and Diego Godin, et al.

Real Madrid to win 1-0.

In Italy, AC Milan host Juventus (8:45pm local time). While AC Milan are not the side they once were and this side certainly pales in comparison to the current Juventus side, this is still a big fixture on the Italian football calendar. Clarence Seedorf has somewhat turned the Rossoneri around and made them much tougher mentally so that they're an outside chance of making the European spots. A win against Juventus would be a huge pass mark for the emerging manager and former Milan legend and certainly give them confidence as Serie A comes to a close. A couple of ex-Milan players will also be on show for Juventus, i.e. Andrea Pirlo in what should be a pretty decent game of football.

AC Milan 1-1 Juventus

In France, champions Paris St Germain host Olympique Marseille (9pm local time) looking to continue their dominance of French football. While PSG are favourites at home, the history of this fixture means anything can happen in this game especially with Marseille pushing hard for Champions League football next season - as well as pride of beating those rich Parisiens from the north. Edinson Cavani is out but Zlatan Ibrahimovic is very much in and scoring goals and one against Marseille would be very sweet.

PSG 2-1 Marseille
