Sonny Bill Williams Available for Kiwis
In a big turnaround, SBW has made himself available for the Kiwis if necessary for the Rugby League World Cup that starts later this month.
SBW originally could not commit to Stephen Kearney's side which was named today with commitments to boxing and rugby union up in the air but it appears that following a phone call, SBW might still very well be in the running to represent his country at league's World Cup in the Northern Hemisphere.
If SBW is called up, he could possibly be in the running to be the first ever player to have won the rugby union and rugby league World Cups.
The World Cup final is on November 30 meaning that if SBW did play, he would miss quite a big chunk of Super Rugby pre-season training - mind you, given how hard the New Zealand rugby union is trying to get him back to play for the All Blacks, they may very well give SBW special dispensation to play league.
After all, for a player of his type and commitments, does he really need that much pre-season training?
